Summary
In modern wars, the efficiency of Air Defense is important. Constantly searched for solutions with the maximum ratio of “enemy damage/expenses” and the characteristics of the Air Defense steadily improved. The task is: how many devices are included in the Air Defense in order to optimally neutralize the attack. There is no response in military documents, only it is said about the generalization of operational experience, but there are no calculations, analyzes or instructions. Now the main attention is paid to the growth of means accompanied and fired goals, in particular, the successful destruction of low-flying and inconspicuous devices. Air Defense, unlike anti-aircraft artillery, is an independent part of the military machine, which, together with aviation, ensures dominance in the air. In work analyzes the probable characteristics of various Air Defense systems and the results of combat operations involving them. This article provides a solution to the problem with instructions.
